¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?
- Develop and maintain Scala-based applications and services.
- Handle big data processing using Hadoop and Spark frameworks.
- Create high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
- Work closely with the Analytics team to identify opportunities for system enhancements.
- Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
A successful Big Data Developer should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunitacions or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Scala and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- ETL's.
- Experinece working with GCP (BigQuery, DataProc, Kubernetes) and/or Azure (Databricks, Azure Pipelines).
- Databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Azure Data Explorer).
- Experience in developing high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
- Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is a must (B2-C1). You will join an international team and work in English. (Spanish not need it).
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Python/PySpark, Airflow, UNIX Shell Scripting, AWS (EMR, Presto, EKS).
- Experience working with Flink.
- Experience working with Hortonworks/Cloudera.
- Very valuable to have experience working in Tier1 or Telco companies.
- Experiences as a Tech Lead.
