We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic researcher to work on an RNA laboratory focused on the development of synthetic mRNA molecules such as mRNA vaccines or other mRNA therapeutic molecules targeting a wide variety of diseases, using our novel mRNA design software. Ideally, she/he will have hands-on experience in cell and molecular biology as well as proof of a background in biotechnology and some interest in synthetic biology applied to diagnostics and therapeutics.

Technical requirements:

• Cell biology analysis (cell culture, transfection assays, western blot, immunoprecipitation)
• Molecular biology analysis (RNA and DNA extraction, DNA/RNA agarose and acrylamide gel electrophoresis, RNA-seq, PCR, RT-qPCR)
• Experience in RNA biology
• Experience in protein activity analysis

Qualifications and other skills:

• PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a related field
• Strong organizational and planning skills 
• Highly developed problem solving skills
• Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish

Contract conditions:

• Full-time contract
• Contract linked to an 8-months maternity cover. Possibility to convert to a permanent contract.
• Target start date: Ideally by May 2024
