Job Description Summary
Safeguards inventory accuracy and coordinates safe, on-time movements of materials and major components across warehouses, yards, and project sites for wind and solar projects. Manages end-to-end stockkeeping (receiving, put-away, storage, kitting, issuing, returns) and coordinate cargo loads and movements in compliance with HSE, quality, and logistics procedures while collaborating with 3PLs, site teams, and suppliers.
Job Description
- Execute end-to-end stockkeeping: inbound receiving, inspection, put-away, location management, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle and blind counts; investigate discrepancies (NCR/CAPA) and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure serial/lot/batch and configuration traceability for safety-critical and high-value components.
- Plan, coordinate, and prepare movements of major components and flow parts to/from warehouses, yards, and project sites, including documentation.
- Prepare movement plans and load lists; verify lifting points, center of gravity, packaging integrity, and securing requirements prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, and transport providers; confirm lifting plans, slinging methods, and accessory certification/in-date status.
- Control gate/yard activities: vehicle booking, loading sequence, weight/CoG checks, load securing per standards, and photographic documentation.
- Execute timely and accurate WMS/ERP transactions; reconcile physical and system counts daily and maintain digital records for auditability.
- Collaborate with procurement, site managers, planners, and 3PLs to meet project schedules; monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Warehouse operations and stock control.
- Working knowledge of lifting, rigging, and load-securing principles; ability to interpret lifting plans and load diagrams.
- WMS/ERP transactions (inventory, reservations, kitting); handheld scanners; labeling.
- Interface with EAM/TMS tools to align material availability with work orders and transport bookings.
- Fluency in English; Spanish advantageous.
- MS Excel/Office for logs, registers, and reporting.
- Travel between sites/warehouses as required by operations schedules.
