Key Account Manager | Fashion & Footwear (Wholesale) | Madrid | €60-65,000


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing fashion and footwear brand. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who thrives on building strong retail partnerships, driving profitable growth, and bringing product and brand stories to life across wholesale and omnichannel customers.
You will take full ownership of key national and strategic wholesale accounts, acting as a trusted partner while delivering ambitious sales, margin, and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities as a Key Account Manager

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key wholesale accounts, including national retailers and major online partners.
  • Achieve and exceed seasonal sales, volume, and margin targets.
  • Identify opportunities for distribution growth, range expansion, and new product launches.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and supply chain contacts.
  • Have existing relationships with key clients and target clients
  • Negotiate annual agreements, promotions, and marketing support.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing market insight, competitor activity, and consumer trends.
  • Support new store openings, refits, and key trading periods.

Skills & Experience we want in our new Key Account Manager

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Wholesale Account Manager within fashion, footwear, apparel, or a related consumer goods sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing account profitability.
  • Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Highly analytical, with strong forecasting and numerical capability.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Results-focused, proactive, and commercially minded.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about fashion, footwear, and consumer brands.
