In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of Community and Marketing. Community has always been at the heart of Canva, fuelling all the strong brand loyalty we’ve built over the years. To ensure success in Spain, this role is essential in driving the awareness and adoption of Canva among SMBs.

About The Role/Specialty

As Canva’s SMBs Community Manager in Spain, you will design and deliver strategies that connect small business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs with Canva-helping them discover the value of our platform, engage deeply with our community, and become passionate advocates for our brand, product and mission.

What You’ll Do

• Community Program Management: Lead the growth and engagement of Canva’s Spain SMBs community, scaling peer-to-peer advocacy through Canvassadors, local events, and online activations.
• Events & Experiences: Organise and facilitate impactful in-person and virtual events (including workshops, networking sessions, and flagship gatherings at our London event space) to showcase Canva’s value for SMBs and drive adoption.
• Content & Engagement Strategy: Develop and deliver SMB-focused content—case studies, toolkits, webinars, and success stories—that inspire entrepreneurs and highlight Canva’s impact on small business growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Growth Marketing, SEO, Content, and Partnerships teams to design and execute integrated campaigns that convert community advocacy into MAUs and ARR growth.
• Expand the Canvassador Programme: Recruit, onboard, and empower SMB Canvassadors to act as brand ambassadors—hosting activations, creating content, and fueling grassroots visibility across the Spain.
• Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with SMB networks, accelerators, financial institutions, and government programmes to increase Canva’s credibility and reach in the ecosystem.
• User Growth & Awareness: Drive MAU growth and paid conversion through data-driven initiatives, ambassador referrals, and partnership activations—tying community activity directly to ARR impact.
• Market Insights & Storytelling: Act as the local expert on Spain SMB trends, capturing user stories, feedback, and advocacy moments to inform growth strategies and amplify Canva’s brand narrative
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience growing and engaging SMB audiences, with a proven track record of driving adoption, retention, and revenue impact through community-led strategies.
• Deep understanding of the Spain small business and solopreneur landscape—its challenges, ecosystems, and opportunities—paired with experience working in a global organisation.
• Proven ability to design and scale ambassador programmes, peer-led advocacy, and grassroots campaigns that transform SMB users into passionate brand champions.
• Skilled at creating and managing partnerships with SMB networks, accelerators, financial institutions, and government programmes to expand Canva’s reach and credibility.
• Strong experience facilitating impactful activations—workshops, networking sessions, and flagship in-office events—that foster SMB community trust and convert participation into MAU and ARR growth.
• Ability to craft compelling SMB-focused content—case studies, toolkits, webinars—that inspire entrepreneurs and highlight Canva’s role in business growth.
• Analytical skills to track community KPIs (MAUs, referrals, ARR contribution), translate insights into action, and connect community engagement directly to business growth.
• Comfortable working with Growth Marketing, SEO, Content, Product, and Partnerships teams to design integrated campaigns that scale SMB user growth.
• Confident public speaker with experience in facilitating webinars and workshops.
• Creative thinker with content creation experience, including video editing, and a deep understanding of social platforms and trends.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with sales, growth, and social teams, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Self-starter with strong execution and delivery skills, thriving in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
• Proficient in balancing long-term strategy with short-term needs, adapting quickly to market trends, while focusing on data-driven marketing.
• Build and maintain strong internal relationships within Canva to support collaboration and align with company goals.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with partners as well as collaborating with government organizations and agencies.
• Experience building comms and using CRMs (push notifications, mailing), knows how to work with community management tools (Whatsapp, Facebook Groups, Discord, etc).
• Event planning and coordination for both online and offline events.
• Strong data-driven and insights-driven marketing mindset (experience pulling insights from data, driving hypothesis, measuring your KPIs and goal setting for your projects)

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

We’re looking for a creative and highly skilled videographer to bring Canva’s growth marketing content to life across TikTok, Meta, YouTube and other performance channels. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our Europe Marketing team, producing platform-native, thumb-stopping video content that drives awareness and conversions.

You’ll be someone who lives and breathes content; from ideation and storyboarding to shooting, editing and optimising for each platform. You’re fluent in the language of short-form, with a knack for translating local insights into content that grabs attention in the first few seconds and keeps viewers hooked.

We’re after someone who’s as comfortable behind the camera as they are in the edit suite, with a sharp eye for visual storytelling. If you can spot a trend before it peaks, adapt it to our brand voice, and package it into high-performing creative for growth channels - you’re our person. Bonus points if you’re up for starring in front of the camera too.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot and edit high-quality, platform-native short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and other growth marketing channels
• Plan and execute shoots end-to-end — from ideation, storyboarding, and scripting to lighting, audio, and framing
• Collaborate with the growth creative squad and cross-functional marketing team to translate local insights into high-performing creative
• Capture supplementary b-roll, behind-the-scenes, and stills for multi-channel use
• Optimise content for brand consistency, platform best practices, and both awareness and conversion goals
• Regularly iterate and evolve content outputs based on ongoing performance insights
• Keep on top of emerging trends, formats, and platform features
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record creating high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube
• Expert videography skills; confident in camera operation, lighting, audio, and shot composition
• Strong editing skills and open to using different software including Canva Video
• Deep understanding of platform best practices and how to optimise content for both conversions
• Ability to turn local market insights and trends into content that resonates with target audiences
• Comfortable managing the entire production process from concept to final export
• Data-informed mindset, with experience testing creative variations and iterating based on performance insights
• Highly collaborative, working seamlessly with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams

About The Role

As a Copywriter, you’ll craft clear, compelling, and locally relevant content for performance marketing campaigns, Meta ad creatives, high-impact partnerships and campaigns. You'll work on evergreen initiatives to ensure a seamless flow of messaging between markets. Please note, this role requires fluency in Spanish, with professional level English. Collaborating closely with designers and marketers, you’ll help shape Canva’s voice in Europe and bring creative ideas to life.

What You’ll Do

• Write engaging copy in Spanish for marketing materials across campaigns in performance marketing, strategic partnerships, brand, events, social media, community, and other channels.
• Localize Canva’s global messaging to ensure it resonates with diverse Europe audiences.
• Ideate, write, and review content for Truly Local campaigns — spanning performance, brand, experiential, and social initiatives.
• Partner with designers, video editors, and content creators to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative assets.
• Support content development for events, tutorials, and product launches tailored to local markets.
• Use performance data, market trends, and competitor insights to inform creative direction and optimize content across channels (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Collaborate with external partners, providing guidance and feedback to maintain brand and messaging consistency.
