What is the job about?
You will join the mechanical engineering team working on innovative devices for the aerospace industry. This is a intern position with a strong learning component, where you will grow your technical skills while contributing to real R&D projects.
What will you do?
- Support R&D activities related to new avionics technologies for the aerospace industry, with a focus on mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate in the design and development of mechanical devices for aerospace applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in cross-disciplinary and multicultural teams, gaining exposure to systems engineering and hardware design.
- Assist in prototyping and manufacturing activities, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Contribute to technical documentation and design based on requirements.
Mandatory:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.
- Good level of English (written and spoken).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD tools, preferably SOLIDWORKS.
- Basic understanding of simulation concepts (temperature, vibration, or structural analysis is a plus).
- Any project or internship experience with development of device driver for any OS is highly regarded.
- You have a proactive attitude and demonstrate autonomy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills are key to excelling as an engineer. These define you.
- You are keen on researching state-of-the-art solutions and are able to apply your critical thinking to identify what can be adopted for our needs.
- You have natural organizational skills.
- You have the ability and eagerness to learn.
