Remuneration and Package

The role is accountable for the delivery of our brand strategies across the Hellenic cluster, which covers 18 markets, the largest of which is Greece. The role is accountable for the strategic choices, deployment and management of the cluster’s :£ 2.5million of marketing investment. The role will work closely with the region’s cross-functional team and our partner distributor to develop growth plans for key brand/market combinations; support the execution of our brand strategies; monitor their progress and evaluate the impact of each activity against a set of pre-defined objectives.
This role will take the lead and/or support key regional projects as required. The role has 3 direct reports: 1 Assistant Brand Manager and 2 Brand Ambassadors.
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the key responsibilities included are to:
- Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to identify key drivers of growth to shape the local brand strategies and deliver our annual targets.
- Act as marketing conduit between Edrington and our distributor for a cluster of priority European markets, with a key focus on Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine & Czech Republic.
- Implement global campaigns & strategic NPD launches – adapting format as required to fit local needs & preparing full evaluations post activity.
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring global brand guidelines and key strategic updates are translated into locally relevant plans with the support of our distributor (including global campaigns and strategic product launches); ensuring a consistency of brand strategy and messaging across the Hellenic cluster/portfolio.
- Be the cluster lead for consumer-centric growth planning.
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to degree level within a suitable discipline. You will be fluent in both spoken and written English and, ideally, with Spanish language skills too.
Experience across in-market execution, customer marketing and brand building within regional and/or local marketing roles is essential. You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret consumer, market, category, shopper, customer and financial information. A strategic thinker, you will effectively lead teams, motivating yourself and others to deliver. Experience working with 3 rd party distributors and working with luxury brands will be highly advantageous.
You will be able to travel to meet distributers and the wider team approximately twice per month.
