Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a key role in the financial management of WD-40 in Spain, ensuring rigorous control, clear business visibility, and strong support for strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting and receivables teams in Spain, acting as the main point of contact for budgeting, financial control, and reporting.
• Prepare, review, and present routine and ad hoc financial reports, providing insights into results, trends, and KPIs.
• Develop and continuously improve processes, systems, and financial controls in compliance with local regulations, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, delivering meaningful input for monthly business reviews and quarterly management presentations.
• Manage the customer discount and receivables process, ensuring proper control of rebates and minimizing bad debt exposure.
• Work closely with the business systems team to develop system modules related to discounts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in multinational environments, ideally within US-listed companies operating as subsidiaries of UK parent companies.
• Experience with SOX compliance.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
• Strong background in financial analysis, accounting management, and team leadership.
• Experience in discount management within retail distribution contracts.
• Fluent English (B2 or above) – mandatory for daily collaboration in an international environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM/ERP systems.
