Private equity investing in technology-enabled financial businesses

Gala Capital is an independent investment platform with a long-term, high-conviction approach to private equity and financial investing. Over recent years, the Gala platform has executed more than 100 investments and managed over $2 billion across private equity, venture capital, and special situations, partnering with founders, institutions, and strategic investors.

Within Gala Capital, Orion Gala Tech is an investment fund focused on financial investments in businesses shaping the next wave of technology-enabled financial services, particularly where artificial intelligence, digital assets, cybersecurity, and data-intensive platforms are reshaping traditional models.

As our investment activity continues to accelerate, we are looking to add several Investment Analysts to our team in Madrid 📍

Our investment focus

We apply a private-equity mindset to structurally growing, technology-led segments of the financial ecosystem:

• AI-enabled financial services and platforms, improving analysis, decision-making, and operational efficiency
• Digital assets and payments, including stablecoins, tokenization, and next-generation financial infrastructure
• Cybersecurity and digital trust, supporting secure, scalable digital financial activity

Our approach is fundamental, long-term, and value-driven, with a strong emphasis on business quality, scalability, and capital discipline.

We invest across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C business models, backing companies that combine strong technology with scalable distribution, recurring revenues, and clear paths to profitability.

Examples of companies we have invested in include Ultrai (AI-driven financial analytics), Nutrader (technology-enabled trading and market infrastructure), Myriad (cybersecurity), Stablxx (digital assets and stablecoin-related infrastructure), and Slate (data and technology platforms supporting financial decision-making).

The role

You will work closely with senior investors across the full private equity investment lifecycle, including:

• Financial analysis, valuation, and return modeling
• Company, sector, and competitive analysis
• Support in due diligence processes and interaction with advisors
• Preparation of investment memoranda and internal decision materials
• Ongoing monitoring and analysis of portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

We are interested in candidates who are recent graduates or graduating in 2026, with:

• Strong analytical skills and financial curiosity
• Interest in private equity, investing, and technology-enabled business models
• Fluency in both English and Spanish

Prior experience is not a prerequisite, intellectual rigor, motivation, and judgment matter more.
