Your mission
Would you like to bridge the gap between Quality Engineering, Technical Support, and Supplier Relations in this dynamic hybrid role? As a Warranty Specialist for our Heavy and Super Heavy crane range, you will deepen your technical product expertise while managing critical claims and collaborating cross-functionally across global markets.
The Warranty Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient handling of warranty claims in accordance with Global Warranty Processes. In this role you will safeguard product quality, support effective supplier recovery, and serve as a vital link between field performance and internal engineering teams.
This position is open for candidates located in Zaragoza, Spain or Minerbio, Italy with the possibility for hybrid working model (one day per week working from home).
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, process, and execute warranty claims for Heavy and Super Heavy cranes in full compliance with global policies, authorization levels, and standard operating procedures
- Quality, Technical Support, and Sourcing functions to drive timely claim resolutions
- Monitor claims data and warranty costs to spot recurring technical issues, providing structured feedback to quality teams to support root-cause improvements
- Track, investigate, and follow up on complex, high-value, or overdue claims, escalating critical cases when necessary to protect business interests
- Support parts return logistics, supplier recovery actions, and Service Letter execution
- Provide operational warranty guidance and training to system users while participating in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean projects.
- Background in Quality Engineering, Technical Support, Warranty Handling, or hands-on factory floor/service experience with heavy machinery
- Strong practical understanding of mechanical and hydraulic product architecture (knowing how heavy equipment operates and fails in the field)
- High digital literacy with the ability to quickly master ERP and warranty systems; familiarity with structured problem-solving
- Proactive mindset with a strong customer focus and the ability to work independently in a multi-cultural environment
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish or Italian is a distinct advantage.
