The role

The Role

The Role:
The Network Platforms Manager is responsible for designing the organization´s network infrastructure. S/He assesses the organization´s needs and objectives, select appropriate network technologies, and design a network architecture that meets those requirements efficiently and securely. S/He provides the guidance, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required by a product or an integrated chain of products. This role animates technical discussions and sharing within own team and across teams, participates in sketching sessions with the behavioral specialist, product manager and business analyst, coaches and partners with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline.
In This Role, You Will:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business capabilities and use it to segment customers based on their needs and profile.
- Work with the Nespresso IT Platform and Enterprise Architect, to develop a network strategy and vision to maximize value in line with corporate and business strategy.
- Analyze the proactive landscape, specifically for TCO / value for money to inform the product strategy before and during product life.
- Work with CVC Regional Operations Managers to capture local market needs and pain points, support in technical issues escalation and make solutions available as part of the Product Portfolio offering.
- Participate in the IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options and support the business governance processes (e.g. automation that would reduce business spend or significantly impact business ways of working).
- Develop people: coach, define effective development plans and assess talent, building the right capabilities for the team´s and for the organization´s long-term success.
- Ensure the Network strategy can be delivered within his own platform stack and it is in synergy with other key products strategies Nespresso IT Platform (Conferencing, Contact Center, Data Center & Cloud, Security, SAP platforms, T&P factories platforms).
- Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.
What We´re Looking For:
- Bachelor´s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of design and implementation experience in IT, with Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and project experience deploying Cisco SDWAN technology.
- Experience in large and complex networking environments supporting hybrid infrastructure landscape (onprem and multicloud).
- Knowledge of LAN / WAN design and project experience in large LAN / WAN implementation.
- Established experience with networks vendors from the Nespresso installed base solutions and services (mainly Cisco, Checkpoint, Zscaler).
- Managing firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
