Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Director will play a crucial role in strategizing and implementing commercial plans and initiatives to drive growth and profitability within the food services sector. This role demands a proactive approach to market analysis, sales strategy, and team leadership to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in the food services domain.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve exceptional results, fostering a culture of success and ongoing business growth.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align commercial strategies with market needs and company goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, developing strategic partnerships to enhance business prospects.
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Prepare and deliver detailed sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar commercial leadership role within the food services or related industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant sales software.

¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?
* Independent development of your sales territory North-East Spain with focus on Barcelona
* Promotion of growth in the dealer channel development and local key account business
* Establishment and expansion of the channel partners network and deepening relevant end customer relationships by offering value propositions (Features & Benefits) designed for generating mutually sustainable & profitable business relationship
* Establish focused customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
* Documentation and evaluation of relevant market information in the company CRM
* Support in cross-territory sales activities
* Achieve accelerated growth and hit sales targets in assigned territory
* Ensure that brand awareness within the assigned territory meets company expectations
* Monitor competitors' sales activity within the assigned territory
* Present regularly products and services to prospective customers
* Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
* Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
* Kitchen Planner/Consultant relationship and support
* Develop a deep understanding of the ITW toolbox and the 80/20 mindset
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
* Technical or business degree or have a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in sales of capital goods or technically sophisticated products and solutions requiring explanation (ideally with industry knowledge)
* High customer orientation with ambitious growth mindset
* Very good communication skills in Spanish and English
* Goal- and customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as negotiation skills and self-confident appearance
* Independent, structured and organized way of working
