The primary responsibility of this role is to perform various tasks related to the publishing or the assessment and enhancement of the quality of the content available in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, under general supervision. The day to day job requires the individual to make high judgment decisions by following a standard operating procedure.
Key job responsibilities
- Execute standard, small-scale projects or assigned components of a larger project to improve processes, using tools or reporting to achieve quality metrics or improvements
- Manage escalations on routine/predefined tasks
- Create or fix media assets such as subtitle, metadata or artwork with high quality.
Along with two other sites (Chennai, India and San Jose, Costa Rica), the Prime Video Global Operations team partners with a wide range of stakeholders across the Prime Video (Program, Business, Partner Operations, Tech, Product, Research and Science, etc) to oversee asset deliveries, system processing and assembly, and on-time, defect free, and complete content publishing to Prime Video’s global audience. We obsess over ensuring that every search, discovery and playback interaction with Prime Video (PV) is device agnostic, defect free and results in a high engagement experience for Customers. Therefore, the DigiFlex Operations organization plays an essential role at Prime Video, ensuring that the content that powers our vision to be the premier source of global entertainment, is complete and correct.
Basic Qualifications
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to apply critical thinking and provide insights while working with creative content
- Understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain
- Experience in Post house/Studios industry in the content publishing or quality management domain
- Fluency in one of the following languages (German/Italian/French) with understanding of region-specific jargon/colloquialism is a plus
