Our services power critical customer journeys across Sage's ecosystem and enable faster, more consistent delivery of regulatory change.

As Product Manager for Regulatory Reporting & Filing, you will own a critical set of platform services that support periodic tax reporting and filing obligations. You will work at the intersection of tax regulation, customer needs and engineering delivery, helping Sage customers meet statutory reporting obligations accurately and efficiently.

This role is suited to an experienced Product Manager who is a proactive self-starter, comfortable operating in a highly matrixed organisation and able to navigate ambiguity. You will need to apply ruthless prioritisation, balancing regulatory commitments, customer outcomes, colleague needs and the long-term sustainability of shared platform services.

💻/🏡 This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week in our Barcelona office.

What you'll do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Regulatory Reporting & Filing services, balancing mandatory regulatory commitments, customer outcomes, colleague needs and long-term platform health.
• Turn regulatory change into clear product direction by partnering with compliance knowledge teams, tax specialists and in-country experts.
• Define platform capabilities that support VAT returns, indirect tax reporting, statutory submissions and future compliance obligations.
• Lead discovery to understand reporting challenges, operational pain points, jobs-to-be-done and opportunities for simplification.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple countries and reporting obligations, making trade-offs transparent and evidence-based.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, legal, tax specialists, in-country teams, go-to-market colleagues and consuming product teams to deliver reliable and scalable services.
• Monitor adoption, service performance and customer outcomes after release, then decide whether to improve, expand, sustain or stop.
• Use AI as part of day-to-day product management practice to accelerate research, analysis, synthesis, prioritisation, discovery and communication, while personally validating material evidence and conclusions.

What you'll bring

Essential

• Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering software products, platform capabilities, APIs or shared services.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap development, prioritisation and product discovery.
• Demonstrable ability to translate complex and evolving requirements into clear product outcomes and strategic direction.
• A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, drives outcomes independently and is comfortable operating with high levels of autonomy.
• Comfortable working within a highly matrixed organisation, building alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
• Demonstrable ability to operate effectively in environments with significant ambiguity, competing priorities and evolving requirements.
• Ability to apply ruthless prioritisation, balancing regulatory obligations, customer needs, business objectives and platform sustainability when making product decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to work credibly with tax specialists, engineers and product teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to distil complex information into clear requirements, decisions and narratives.
• Experience using AI tools to improve product management effectiveness, including customer research, insight generation, discovery, prioritisation, analysis and decision support.

Desirable

• Experience working within tax, compliance, accounting or regulatory technology domains.
• Professional qualifications or background in tax, accounting, finance, audit, law or a related discipline.
• Experience with VAT reporting, statutory reporting, sales tax reporting, tax filing solutions or financial compliance workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with European tax compliance frameworks, VAT in the Digital Age, DAC or country-by-country tax and reporting reforms.
• Experience delivering platform products, APIs or shared services consumed by multiple product teams.
• Spanish, French and/or German language skills.

• A clear, shared roadmap is established for Regulatory Reporting & Filing services, with priorities, dependencies, risks and decision points visible to leadership and consuming product teams.
• Regulatory obligations are translated into clear and actionable product strategies, delivery plans and customer value.
• Filing services are trusted, scalable, well-documented and adopted across relevant Sage products.
• Customers can meet reporting obligations accurately and efficiently, with reduced complexity and stronger confidence in compliance outcomes.
• Product decisions are supported by customer insight, evidence, AI-assisted analysis and sound product judgement.

• Gestión administrativa de pedidos de compra.
• Elaboración y seguimiento de pedidos a proveedores.
• Registro y gestión de albaranes.
• Recepción, comprobación y contabilización de facturas de proveedores.
• Gestión integral del circuito de facturación de compras dentro de SAGE.
• Comprobación de la correspondencia entre pedidos, albaranes y facturas.
• Detección y resolución de posibles incidencias relacionadas con la documentación de compras.
• Mantenimiento y actualización de la información administrativa en el sistema.
• Contacto puntual con proveedores para resolver dudas o incidencias relacionadas con pedidos y facturación.
• Soporte en otras tareas administrativas vinculadas al departamento.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

• Formación en Administración, Finanzas, Compras o similar.
• Experiencia previa en posiciones de administración de compras o administración con gestión de proveedores.
• Conocimiento del circuito completo de compras.
• Dominio de SAGE, requisito imprescindible.
• Buen manejo de Microsoft Office, especialmente Excel.
• Persona organizada, meticulosa y orientada al detalle.
• Capacidad para gestionar tareas administrativas recurrentes con autonomía.
• Se valorará experiencia en entornos con un volumen elevado de facturas y documentación.
