Telefèric Barcelona is an authentic Spanish restaurant group in the United States, providing a vibrant and immersive dining experience inspired by Spain’s rich culinary and cultural traditions.
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations in the United States.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest experiences, and proven experience managing high-volume restaurant operations. As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all front-of-house operations, support business performance, and ensure the highest standards of service, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and efficient service execution.
- Supervise, develop, and motivate the front-of-house management team and hourly staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
- Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests, proactively addressing concerns and resolving service issues with professionalism.
- Ensure consistent execution of company service standards, operational procedures, and brand values.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor management, and team performance to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees, creating clear growth opportunities within the organization.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, food and beverage costs, and overall restaurant profitability.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies, maintaining the highest standards at all times.
- Analyze operational results and implement action plans to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and business performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on restaurant events, promotions, marketing initiatives, and business development opportunities.
- Lead by example during service periods, maintaining visibility on the floor and supporting the team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Exceptional customer service mindset and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing restaurant financials, labor, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
- Experience with restaurant management systems, POS platforms, inventory control, and scheduling software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a Spanish or Mediterranean restaurant is a plus.
- English proficiency required; Spanish is highly valued.
Restaurant Manager Compensation
- From $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience
- Bonus quarterly
