🧩 Role overview

Are you interested in business law and international projects within a highly regulated and cutting‑edge industry? Join the Young Talent Program at Thales Alenia Space Spain as a Legal Trainee.

You will support the Legal Department in managing a wide range of legal matters related to commercial contracts, compliance, corporate law and intellectual property, contributing to the protection of the company’s interests in the aerospace sector. This role offers hands‑on exposure to complex legal frameworks in a collaborative, international and multidisciplinary environment.

🛠️ Key responsibilities

Contractual & Commercial Law Support

• Assist in the drafting, review and negotiation of NDAs and commercial contracts (e.g. agreements with customers, suppliers and subcontractors).
• Collaborate in the identification and analysis of legal risks within contractual clauses (confidentiality, penalties, change of control, termination, etc.).

Tenders & Regulatory Framework

• Support the Legal team in the management of public tenders (ESA, CDTI) and private procurement processes.
• Perform comparative legal analysis of Spanish, European and international legislation applicable to the aerospace and defense sector.

Corporate & Governance Matters

• Assist in corporate law matters such as board and shareholders’ meeting minutes, Powers of Attorney (PoAs) and by‑law amendments.

Legal Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare legal memos, reports and punctual presentations on emerging legal topics and regulatory developments.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Facilities, Finance and HR teams to ensure legal alignment with business operations.
• Participate in meetings with customers or partners when required.

🧠 Candidate profile

Education

• Law student in the final years of the degree or recently graduated.
• Master’s Degree in Business Law, International Law or Technology Law (valued).

Legal Knowledge

• Background or strong interest in Contract Law, Compliance and/or Intellectual Property (preferred).

Languages

• Spanish and English fluent (mandatory), with the ability to work with technical and contractual documentation in English.

Skills & Mindset

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Clear and structured legal writing and communication abilities.
• Proactive attitude and genuine interest in the aerospace / defense sector and its regulatory framework.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
