Company Description

The Touring Pandas is the first tour company in Barcelona dedicated to Chinese, Japanese and Korean-speaking individual travelers. We are a young and dynamic startup with lots of room for opportunities and personal development.

Our mission is to make Chinese, Korean, and Japanese-speaking travelers feel more welcome in Spain. We are looking for tour guides who look forward to sharing their passion about Barcelona with visitors to the city.

Role Description

This is a part or full-time, on-site role for Chinese-speaking Tour Guides at The Touring Pandas, located in Barcelona. Tour Guides will be responsible for providing guided tours in Mandarin, assisting visitors with information and directions, and ensuring a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for tourists.

Our tours visit the main icons of the city but also off-the-beaten track places unknown to many tourists. Experience is a plus, but not mandatory, as we will provide extensive training during the onboarding weeks.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese to lead the tours
• Fluency in English or Spanish to interact with our staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local attractions, landmarks, and history of Barcelona
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in tourism or hospitality is a plus
