As a Data Engineering Intern, you´ll work with cutting-edge tools like Databricks and Azure Data Factory, contributing to real-world projects that power our analytics. What you will do:
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks.
- Support the development of ETL processes for consistent and accurate data across the data lakehouse.
- Collaborate with BI engineers to structure data for reporting and analytics.
- Learn to optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues in data pipelines and infrastructure under supervision.
- Align data engineering efforts with business objectives within an agile Scrum team.

What you bring & who you are:
- Analytical mindset with a background in engineering, mathematics, business, or a related field.
- Passion for building robust data infrastructure to support analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Basic experience with Pandas; PySpark knowledge is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn about Databricks and Azure Data Factory for pipeline development.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, ready to work collaboratively in formal and informal settings.
