🤓 About The Opportunity

The Scientific Impact Specialist reports to the Scientific Impact Manager and is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the quality of medical and scientific deliverables generated from MEDSIR’s scientific activities.

🚀 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

• Scientific writing and deliverables
• Generate and review scientific deliverables (abstracts, posters, presentations, manuscripts…) that result from MEDSIR scientific activity.
• Prepare and review medical and scientific material, that might be required to generate awareness of MEDSIR scientific activity addressed to different stakeholders, such as patients, health care professionals, and biopharma.
• Generating and reviewing scientific documents required as part of MEDSIR projects such as clinical study reports, molecular reports and other study-specific documents that require specialized scientific knowledge.
• Ensure that all deliverables comply with applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines, such as ICH, GxPs, Company guidelines, journal requirements, and international writing standards.
• Review and proofread materials for scientific accuracy and quality.
• Project and timeline management
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all scientific materials within agreed timelines.
• Maintain inventory, files and platforms on MEDSIR medical and scientific deliverables.
• Contribute to and adherence to the Scientific Impact Annual Plan
• Scientific expertise and continuous learning
• Stay up to date with current medical literature and advancements, emerging scientific advances, technological developments, and medical trends relevant to MEDSIR’s projects.
• Stakeholder collaboration
• Liaise directly with client, authors, and speakers involved in scientific projects
• Support ad hoc in the defense of proposals with external clients and collaborators.
• Process improvement and administrative tasks
• Participate in the definition, development, and improvement of department and company procedures.
• Participate in administrative requirements of the Scientific Impact Unit.

💪 WHAT DO WE VALUE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

• PhD degree in health sciences (pharmacy, medicine, biomedicine, biology, biotechnology, or similar).
• Proven record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably in oncology and/or clinical trials.
• Solid writing and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent command of English, including strong grammar knowledge, familiarity with standard scientific style guides, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
• Proficiency in computer skills, including search databases, Microsoft office package or equivalent, and reference management software.
• Experience in clinical research.
• Motivation and ability to keep scientific knowledge updated in areas required by the Company projects that include but are not limited to Oncology, Molecular biology, and Digital innovation in Health Sciences.
• Ability to interpret and present clinical data and other complex information.
• Ability to communicate scientific or medical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
