Job Description
Lead all interactions with suppliers (CMO, CDMO, Licence partners etc.) through account plans, targets, and projects to maximise partnership and value creation between the parties. Ensure a systematic, enterprise-wide assessment of supplier assets and capabilities to cover the needs in line with the Company Operations strategy. You will report to the Global Head of Manufacturing Strategy & Projects. Guide a cross-functional Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) to ensure complete product and process oversight, drive performance improvements in all functional areas (quality, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing science & technology and life cycle management).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Supplier Relationship Teams (SRT's) based on technologies, comprised of quality, supply chain, sourcing, technical functions including validation, GMP, SHE and sustainability to ensure the Company standards are met.
- Organize business review meetings, where key stakeholders and technical experts meet to discuss joint opportunities, share strategies, identify market trends, investigate potential roadblocks to collaboration, activities and resources required.
- Manage performance of the suppliers, including setting targets and KPI dashboards. In addition, you act as a primary point of contract for the supplier relationship teams.
- Set goals for SRT members with functional heads
- Review KPIs with suppliers and internal teams and set resource plans and budgets for the supplier relationship teams.
- Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and communicate changes and issues with the suppliers. Part of your accountability is leading major projects, including continuous improvement, to increase supplier's performance by creating and following project and account plans (transfers, launches, capacity, saving, changes)
The Successful Applicant
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with managing external partners, ideally with on-site plant experience in a current or previous role
- Biologics, Sterile, Aseptic knowledge in a production environment within a regional or international scope
- Experience in managing a team in an Operational Environment (Pharmaceutical/Cosmetic Manufacturing is an asset)
