Key responsibilities- Consult with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify reporting or analysis required to solve.
- Design & build Management Information reports to answer specific business questions and provide actionable insight.
- Maintain existing dashboard reports, assisting key business stakeholders with any queries or troubleshooting issues.
- Regular reconciliation, interrogation & validation of regular reporting (daily & monthly)
- Provide proactive advice to the Management Team around trends, opportunities & data quality issues.
- Involvement in Board reporting & investor presentations with a focus on producing KPIs & visuals.
- Use SQL and if necessary other languages (e.g. Python, M) to prepare data for application in scheduled reporting and visualization.
- Regular maintenance of Data Warehouse, including basic updates to pipelines, troubleshooting & debugging.
- Ability to build new connections from additional source systems into a Data Warehouse and associated pipelines, if required.
Data & Business Intelligence
- Strong skillset and experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Power BI (essential).
- Experience working with data warehouses.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL (essential).
- Knowledge of Python (desirable).
General Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proven ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Solid planning, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills to evaluate business problems and deliver effective solutions.
