About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AML & Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team in Spain. This is an operational role for someone who enjoys investigating cases, keeping records clear and complete, and helping a busy team move work forward.

You will work across AML, transaction monitoring, KYC and KYB, alongside the managers responsible for those areas and with support from the MLRO and CCO. You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one. We are looking for someone with a solid AML foundation, good judgement and the willingness to learn the rest.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts, customer activity and other AML-related cases.
• Support KYC and KYB reviews, including checking documentation, identifying gaps and following up on outstanding information.
• Document your analysis, decisions and escalations clearly so that each case has a complete audit trail.
• Escalate unusual activity, potential risks and complex cases to the appropriate manager or MLRO.
• Help keep cases and requests moving within agreed timelines, working with Compliance colleagues and other teams when needed.
• Support periodic reviews, internal reporting, audits and regulatory requests by gathering information and preparing accurate records.
• Identify recurring issues or ways to improve day-to-day processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in an operational AML, KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring or broader compliance role within financial services, payments, fintech or another regulated environment.
• The ability to review information, spot inconsistencies, investigate further and explain your conclusions clearly.
• Good understanding of core AML and customer due diligence principles.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several cases or requests at once.
• Confidence working with different teams and asking questions when information is missing.
• Based in Spain.

It would be a plus if you have:

• Experience in more than one area of compliance, such as transaction monitoring, KYC, KYB, fraud or regulatory operations.
• Experience working with crypto-assets or blockchain transactions.
• Familiarity with Spanish or European AML requirements, MiCA or the Travel Rule.
• Experience using case management or monitoring tools, or helping improve operational workflows.
