SCIB Santander Digital Services is looking for a Junior Backend Developer, based in our Madrid office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will design, implement and be responsible for technical solutions for the product backend/engine with an architecture based in microservices Springboot.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Actively work on optimizing and making software development processes more efficient.
- Implementation of timely alerts and metrics to measure solutions.
- Collaborate in the technical design of solutions to comply with the reference architecture framework for SCIB.
- Ensure the software meets company quality standards both for maintenance and software evolutions
- Implement software quality/security controls.
- Collaborate in the execution/monitoring of the agile product development methodology.

EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in backend application development, proving experience in backend architecture under SpringBoot and Event Drive architecture, meeting the Santander quality and security standards in the SW

EDUCATION
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer science/Telecommunication engineering/Maths/...

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Required:- Technical Micro-services, Event Driven Architecture, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Kafka, Exadata, MQ
- Languages: Spanish and English
- Technical Advanced knowledge in: Hexagonal architecture, DDD, TDD, BDD, Redis HA, reactive programming, functional programming, Java21, S3, OpenShift, GitHub, Workflows, CI/CD flows, Unit Test, REST, XML, XSD, Security Quality Gates, SAST, DAST

- Valuable skills:- Technical advanced knowledge in: Sonar, Fortify
- Functional: Functional knowledge in transactional banking, specifically cash flows. Experience in Agile methodologies.
- New Technologies: APIConnect, APIs (Efficient development and performance for high volumes, low response times)

OTHER INFORMATION
- Interest in the latest trends, technologies and programming languages.
- Team spirit, good communication skills, ease in interpersonal relationships. Team management
