Role Description
We are looking for an Information Technology Technician to join our Engineering team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Madrid and is essential in supporting all aspects of the hotel’s IT infrastructure. The IT Technician will ensure the seamless operation of technology systems, providing hands-on support to both internal teams and guests while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems across the property, including network infrastructure, servers, hardware, and software.
- Coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs with external service providers.
- Support and monitor telephony, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Assist hotel departments with technology-related requirements, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, inventories, and compliance with IT standards and safety policies.
- Uphold data security, system integrity, and confidentiality in all processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management, ideally in a hotel or similar fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong knowledge of IT security protocols, system updates, and backups.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic operational setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or vocational equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality will be highly valued.
