As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Frontend Senior Software Engineer in the Accommodation Team you will be in charge of:

• Work with a top-notch tech stack such as ES6 code, Javascript libraries like ReactJS, TypeScript, Graphql, Jest, React Testing library, Style Sheet preprocessors like SASS, CSS-in-JS and styled-components.
• Work with a distributed, scalable micro-services and micro frontends environment, where software gets deployed daily, with high quality, clean code, SOLID principles and TDD
• Be part of a high performing cross functional team of 7-10 developers, Product Manager, UX Designers, etc, all sharing the same values and focus on the customer
• Develop powerful and advanced algorithms that are at the forefront of innovation in travel tech
• Leverage your technical excellence mindset to code solutions with the highest quality through good design, attention to detail and test quality, as well as challenge decisions to help all teams improve technical excellence
• Actively participate in the product definition and ideation processes
• Work in a fully agile organisation, using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuously
• Continuously learn and participate in workshops, hackathons and other events as we consider key to be active within the IT community
• Own and monitor the performance of product and technical OKRs

¿Qué reto proponemos?

Desde Sopra Steria, buscamos incorporar Software Engineer para colaborar en un proyecto internacional de sector gambling. Participarás en todo el SDLC, realizando tareas de análisis, diseño, codificación, pruebas, despliegue y monitorización.

El proyecto trabaja con metodologías ágiles y filosofía DevOps, conformado por equipos multidisciplinares y de alto rendimiento que interactúan directamente con los propietarios del producto, colaborando con el diseño, desarrollo, pruebas, despliegue, mantenimiento y mejora de las plataformas y aplicaciones web en arquitecturas de microservicios.

Requisitos

¿Qué buscamos?
- Al menos 3 años de experiencia en Desarrollo Java y microservicios.
- Experiencia con Spring Framework (Spring, Spring boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)
- Diseño de interfaces REST
- Experiencia en pruebas automáticas (JUnit, Mockito, valorable otras buenas prácticas de testing y cobertura siguiendo la pirámide de testing)
- Experiencia en entornos de Integración y Despliegue Continuo (CI/CD)
- Experiencia práctica con metodologías ágiles.
- Experiencia con contenedores (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experiencia con colas de mensajería (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Inglés alto (B2 o más) (imprescindible)

The Challenge 🧩

At Wallapop, we're looking for an experienced Front-end Engineer with strong expertise in Angular to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our web applications. This role is critical in shaping how we deliver valuable content to millions of users. You will be involved in building both customer-facing web apps and internal tools, primarily utilizing Angular. While proficiency in Angular is essential, we also value knowledge of React.

As part of this role, you'll take ownership of all stages of the development lifecycle — from design to deployment — while collaborating closely with design, product, and back-end teams to implement solutions that elevate the user experience.

What You Will Do 👇

• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications that deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences for millions of users.
• Transform designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable UI components that are responsive and accessible across devices.
• Write maintainable and testable code, adhering to best practices and incorporating unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with other peers during code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Optimize our web applications for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability, keeping the user experience a top priority.
• Work with cross-functional teams (product, design, back-end) to define technical requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Be an active participant in driving the web platform across the company.

What We’re Looking For 🔎

• Experience building large-scale web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries, particularly Angular. Knowledge of React is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven understanding of UI/UX best practices and how to build user-friendly, intuitive applications.
• Solid experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine) and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate in an agile environment, working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset, with an openness to learning and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

What Would Be A Plus 🚀

• A data-driven engineer, with experience in measuring the impact of features or initiatives.
• Familiarity with internationalization and localization, scaling products to support global users.
• Experience with AWS tools, especially CloudFront, S3, and ECS.
• Experience with SEO optimization & SEO tools.
• Knowledge of Node.js, Docker, WebSockets, or other relevant tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools to ensure application health and performance.
• Experience in web analytics, accessibility, security standards, and best practices.
• Mentorship experience and a passion for supporting the growth of fellow engineers.

Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.
