Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market segments.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to tailor offerings to regional needs.
  • Analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
  • Lead and mentor regional business development teams (if applicable).
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and drive account expansion through excellent post-sales relationship management.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in IT industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Multilingual abilities (depending on region).
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and experience in multi-country/regional leadership.

Qualifications

Graduate Degree(s)

  • Proven success in growing business within a defined region or territory.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the regional market and its key players.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

The success of this role will be measured through the following performance metrics: Regional revenue growth Number and value of new deals closed Market share expansion within the assigned territory Client acquisition and retention rates Sales cycle duration and pipeline velocity
