Excel Salesforce PowerPoint Word
Lineage is the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics. With over 25,000 colleagues globally, we keep the global food supply chain moving — if you’ve opened your fridge or freezer today, there’s a good chance Lineage helped get those products there.
We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Business Development team in Madrid. In this key role, you’ll help unlock potential by taking ownership of commercial coordination, reporting, and cross-functional support — enabling our sales team to focus on what they do best: growing our business.
The Role
As Sales Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for sales process support, customer documentation, and business insights. You’ll bring order, structure, and reliability to the way we work with customers, systems, and data. You’ll also act as a connector between Business Development and functions like Operations, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
It’s a role for someone who loves detail, thrives on structure, and enjoys making processes work better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage quotations, contracts, pricing documents and commercial correspondence
• Keep Salesforce opportunities accurate and up to date
• Support with business cases, tenders, pipeline reports and onboarding
• Coordinate communication with customers (e.g. updates, reports, trade fair logistics)
• Bridge the gap between Business Development and other departments

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Demonstrable experience in sales support, analytics, or commercial coordination
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Spanish and other languages are a bonus
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with PowerPoint and Word
• Familiarity with Salesforce, warehouse management systems (such as boltrics), or similar tools
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams and cultures
• A hands-on, independent working style
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
Why This Role Matters
Our BD team is growing fast — but growth brings complexity. This role is essential to scaling our operations, improving accuracy, and supporting a more seamless customer journey. You’ll be the backbone of the commercial process and a key enabler of future success.
