The Opportunity:

Qualifications

The opportunity
As a software architect, you will work alongside a team of international experts in technology, business and the healthcare industry. Software development is one of the core strengths of the DHEC and pivotal in delivering digital health tools for our clients. With you we want to further strengthen our technical expertise.
Your key responsibilities
As a software architect, you are responsible for the oversight and guidance of the development team to ensure the architectural vision is maintained. Additionally, you will work together with near- and off-shore technical teams, vendors and external partners to ensure our tailored software solutions for our healthcare clients are compliant with health regulations and standards. In your role, you will collaborate with clinical teams, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to prioritize and address health-specific software requirements.
As technical expert, you evaluate and select software development technologies, tools and platforms. You also identify software requirements and design architectural blueprints for development team to follow. Additionally, you communicate requirements with other stakeholders like project managers, scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, developers and infrastructure or security architects, as well as provide training and support in business development.
What you can contribute - skills fand attributes or shaping the future
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Proficiency in the local language of your country of residence is required.

- Deep understanding of mobile application development, the frameworks and the technical characteristics of the mobile operating systems Android and iOS.
- Deep understanding of software architectures on all layers - network, infrastructure, security, persistence, application and frontend in order to be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in writing technical concepts, database design and data modeling.
- Experience with CI/CD tech stacks, e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform.
