THE ROLE
Elkanodata is looking for a talented Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for editorial design and a mastery of Adobe InDesign. At elkanodata, we transform complex data into impactful visual stories. In this role, your main focus will be the design and layout of high-end reports, ensuring that dense information is presented in a way that is clear, engaging, and aesthetically sophisticated.

While InDesign is your home base, you are a versatile designer who enjoys the challenge of creating custom graphs, data-driven infographics, and high-stakes presentations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead Editorial Layouts: Take ownership of large-scale reports (PDF and interactive), managing master pages, paragraph styles, and complex grids in InDesign to ensure consistency and readability.
- Information Design: Translate complex data sets and narratives into intuitive infographics and custom charts.
- Presentation Design: Create visually stunning decks and visual assets that help our clients communicate their message effectively.
- Visual Consistency: Ensure all deliverables align with client brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of modern information design.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, art directors, and data analysts to bring stories to life from concept to final delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The InDesign Expert: You don't just "use" InDesign; you master it. You know how to build templates that are both beautiful and functional.
- Layout Obsessed: You have a deep understanding of typography, hierarchy, white space, and grid systems.
- Data Literate: You have experience (or a strong interest) in data visualization and know how to make numbers look beautiful without losing their meaning.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a "pixel-perfect" mindset and double-check every margin, kerning, and alignment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Experience with Figma or presentation software (PowerPoint/Canva) is a plus.
- Autonomous & Remote-Ready: You are proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote global environment.
- Language: A high level of English (written and spoken) is required.
