React C# Python TSQL Django Flask Excel Machine Learning Power BI Office

📈 At Finsolutia we keep expanding! We’re seeking a talented and self-motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our team in Madrid. The main role will be to turn complex financial data into actionable insights, analyze performance, design new strategies, and drive value across diverse loan portfolios and internal projects.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

🔢 Responsibilities will range from conducting quantitative investment analysis to preparing and attending investor presentations (typically in English).

📊 Leverage data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) to support data-driven decision-making across investment and asset management activities.

🚀 Contribute to the development and optimization of internal processes, including automation and digital transformation initiatives using Python, Flask/Django, or C#.

💻 Assist in the development of web applications and internal tools using React and modern web frameworks to streamline reporting, portfolio monitoring, and financial modeling.

📈 Structure, design, and generate management and performance reports, integrating real-time data insights and visualizations.

🔝 Support the integration of machine learning models for predictive analysis in areas such as property valuation, investment risk, and market trends.

📝 Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions and continuously enhance the analytical infrastructure.

What knowledge and skills will you need to have to succeed in the position?

📚 University or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

🔢 Strong interest or background in applying technology and data science to financial analysis, investment modeling, or real estate analytics.

💻 Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel; comfortable working with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence reporting.

💻 Practical experience or familiarity with Python and its key data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc.) for data analysis and machine learning.

📊 Knowledge of SQL for data querying and database management.

🚑 Ability to manage multiple technology-driven projects under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced setting.

💬 Strong analytical, procedural, and critical thinking skills, with a tech-savvy and data-driven approach.

🔚 Fluency in English is mandatory (both oral and written).

Nice To Have

• Exposure to backend web development using Flask or Django, and frontend development using React.
• Familiarity with C# for application development in business or financial environments.
