Overview Of The Role

As a result of our growth drive, we are looking to expand and strengthen our team in Spain to become a central hub for delivering engineering design services, and we are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer with experience in infra and non-infra to lead our technical teams. This a fantastic professional opportunity for a driven individual, with a strong water and wastewater infrastructure experience, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams of technical specialists in response to AMP8 challenges. Typical duties and responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical guidance across our programmes of potable water and wastewater pipelines and treatment works.
• Direct, develop and supervise a team of design staff, providing technical and commercial guidance to support their development and to respond to the needs of the programme.
• Guide the delivery of pipelines, sewers and treatment programmes to budget, programme and quality standards, working collaboratively across disciplines to efficient delivery.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports, proactively managing design risk to deliver constructable solutions.
• Deliver projects in close partnership with clients and contractors.

• Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution.
• Proven ability to lead a portfolio of technical projects, ensuring compliance with relevant quality assurance and technical standards and supporting the development of less experienced staff.

The role of a Cloud Field Engineering Manager at Canonical

The Field Engineering team is our team of cloud solutions architects at Canonical, working directly with our customers, designing private and public cloud solutions fitting their workload needs. As a quality contact for the Elanco Affiliate organization, the Quality Associate plays a key role in the Distribution of Elanco’s products in Benelux and Nordic region.

The Quality Associate will work with Quality Manager and Quality Team to maintain the Quality System, ensuring that products and processes meet both the standards that customers expect and the regulatory requirements imposed by the agencies issuing Elanco’s Wholesale Distribution Authorisations, Feed licenses and GMP+ certification.

Functions, Duties, Task:

• Work with the Quality Manager and Quality Team members to ensure that all operations of the affiliate(s) comply with applicable GDP, local regulations and applicable company quality standards,
• Responsible for the completion & accuracy of assigned operational quality tasks, including but not limited to: quality aspects of affiliate inventory management, batch certification checks, maintaining product and customer Quality master data and supporting the complaints management process,
• Management of assigned QMS activities, including management of deviations, change controls and quality documentation,
• Support affiliate commercial functions by sourcing and/or providing information and by performing tasks which enhance customer service and/or achievement of affiliate business objectives,
• Escalate any local product quality related issue to quality leadership and/or halt, hold or quarantine product status if and when required,
• Support LSP oversight, self-inspection, inspection-readiness and recall activity,
• Monitor, trend, interpret & report on Quality metrics,
• Comply with all company local and global policies including Quality frameworks, Code of Conduct, Corporate Citizenship, anti-discrimination, harassment, and health, safety and environment (HSE) policies.
  
  

Desired Requirements:

• Strong written and spoken English is essential,
• Qualification and/or experience in the healthcare products sector,
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team, including remote, international, cross-functional and matrix environments,
• Demonstrated analytical, investigational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and accurate, timely record-keeping,
• Effective communicator (written/verbal), with good negotiating, presentation and facilitation skills,
• Effective organizational and planning skills,
• Previous experience working in a GDP or GMP environment is a strong preference,
• A knowledge of EU regulation relating to medicinal products is an asset,
• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Veterinary medicine preferred,
• Spoken and written Dutch or French is an advantage.
