As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by building strong relationships with focus accounts and prospects in your market segment. You’ll actively promote and sell our products and services while identifying new opportunities to expand our pipeline and deliver value to our customers.
🎯 Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans to meet defined sales and profit targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively managing leads and converting them into long-term customers
- Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships by understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions
- Plan and conduct customer visits to gain insight into their applications and requirements
- Ensure timely follow-up on opportunities and quotations, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Actively represent Trelleborg in the market to strengthen brand awareness, monitor trends, and observe competitor activity
- Coordinate and lead customer seminars and training sessions, and represent the company at industry fairs and events
- Degree or equivalent experience from a technical school in preferred fields such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
- Proven experience in industrial B2B sales, ideally involving long sales cycles
- Strong interpersonal skills in both Spanish and English
- Proactive and driven approach with a “hunter” mentality, paired with innovative thinking and clear communication
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and passionate about engaging with people
- Familiarity with rubber/plastic products, seals, and bearings is a plus
