Graphic Designer Intern (Paid per Project / Commission-Based)

At Wattnem & Co, we are building a boutique branding studio working closely with people in the creative world, individuals whose work is rooted in expression, aesthetics, and vision.

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer Intern who is about to graduate (or recently graduated) and wants real, hands-on experience working on meaningful branding projects.

This is not a typical internship, you won’t just “assist.” You will be part of real projects, real decisions, and real creative processes.

You’ll be designing for artists, dancers, interior designers, architects, writers, collectors, and creative founders, people who care deeply about aesthetics, identity, and expression.

Your work will not just be visual, it will become part of someone’s creative voice, personal vision, and way of showing up in the world.

We don’t believe in micromanagement.

As long as you meet project deadlines and show up prepared for key client or team calls, you have full freedom to structure your time and creative process however you work best.

Whether you design at night, take long creative breaks, or deep-focus for hours, we care about the quality of the outcome, not how you get there.

• Designing brand identities (logos, visual systems, brand assets)
• Supporting creative direction and concept development
• Translating ideas and concepts into visual execution
• Creating presentations and brand applications
• Participating in feedback rounds and creative discussions
• Contributing ideas and visual references to shape each project

• A Graphic Design student in their final year or recent graduate
• Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and typography
• Passion for branding, art, and visual storytelling
• A refined visual taste and attention to detail
• Proactive, curious, and eager to grow
• Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
