What will you be doing?
- Design and implement backend architectures based on microservices using Python and modern frameworks like FastAPI.
- Build APIs following OpenAPI specifications and manage inter-service communication via REST and gRPC.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes (pods, deployments, configmaps, secrets), and integrate with cloud services.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers and DevOps teams to expose ML/GenAI models as scalable, production-ready services.

This role is available in Málaga, Madrid, Sevilla, Barcelona, or Gijón, following a hybrid work model-some days from home, others at the office, where you´ll build strong synergies with your team.
You must reside in Spain and have legal work authorization.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable microservices in Python, applying best software engineering practices.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure efficient and secure deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with automated test coverage.

Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong Python development skills and deep understanding of backend architectures.
- Proven experience with FastAPI, REST/gRPC, and OpenAPI standards.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Fluent English (B2/C1 level).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, or CDK.
- Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI services and deploying ML models as APIs.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
