At Factorial, the Growth Marketing team is the driving force behind experimentation and innovation to find new distribution channels, optimize our acquisition funnel, and increase the volume and quality of leads. We are also the only technical team in Marketing, supporting over 100 stakeholders across content, SEO, events, partnerships, paid media, and more.
We’re looking for a Senior Developer who can thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and balance high-impact growth experiments with strategic, long-term improvements — like evolving our CMS and scaling our web platform.
The annual salary range for this position is €51,000 to €70,000.
What You’ll Do

- Lead front-end implementation for growth experiments across our marketing website and acquisition funnel — build, test, validate, iterate.

- Modernize our CMS integration (DatoCMS) to support scalable, flexible content structures. You’ll help us evolve away from legacy limitations and enable better workflows for both devs and non-devs.

- Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to bring high-quality, fast-performing, visually compelling pages and campaigns to life — animations, interactions, mobile-first execution.

- Be a multiplier for the team by mentoring developers, advocating for quality, and raising the technical bar through communication, documentation, and reviews. You will partner with another senior developer and be part of a team of mid-level developers and product designers.

- Support internal teams by building reusable components, scalable templates, and internal tooling that allow 100+ stakeholders to operate more efficiently and autonomously.

- Own experiments from code to data: Contribute to defining success metrics, integrate tracking, analyze outcomes, and iterate based on learnings.

- Keep performance top of mind — deliver high Core Web Vitals scores while supporting delightful, creative UI/UX solutions.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…

- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments: You´re energized by change, comfortable prioritizing on the fly, and excited to solve problems that don’t yet have a process.

- Have expert front-end skills: Advanced CSS, responsive layouts, animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP), and React/Next.js are your core tools.

- Understand the CMS problem deeply: You’ve worked with large CMS-driven sites (DatoCMS, Contentful, Sanity, etc.), migrated legacy setups, and understand the balance between structure and flexibility.

- Think like a growth manager, build like an engineer: You care about user behavior, performance, analytics, and experiment velocity just as much as you care about clean code. Over time you should have a value in bigger picture aspects such as business overview + technical aspects.

- Communicate clearly across functions: You can talk to designers, marketers, and backend engineers — and make everyone feel heard and aligned.

- Mentor others: You’re happy to help less experienced teammates grow. You value good documentation, constructive feedback, and leading by example.

- Have a “get it done” attitude: You´re not afraid to get scrappy, patch something fast, or prototype to validate a hypothesis.

Bonus Skills

- Experience working on design systems or refactoring one

- Familiarity with backend at least in a middle level (Rails, PHP, or any CMS templating system)

- WebGL, Canvas, or advanced creative coding experience

- Familiarity with data analysis, A/B testing tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Segment, Amplitude)
