What You’ll Do

At Frekuent, data isn’t a support function, it’s how we make decisions. As a Data Intern, you’ll be embedded in our Data team and get hands-on exposure to the breadth of what a modern data team does, from engineering and modeling to analytics, dashboards and AI. You’ll work on real projects that matter, alongside people who are genuinely invested in helping you grow.

We see internships as one of the best ways to meet great talent, if you perform well, we’d love for you to become a full-time member of the team.

• Help build and improve dashboards and data visualizations used by teams across the company.
• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ELT workflows.
• Assist with data quality checks, documentation, and monitoring tasks.
• Contribute to data modeling work using tools like Fabric or dbt.
• Run ad hoc analyses to answer business questions from different teams.
• Participate in data team rituals and learn how a data function operates in a scaling startup.
• Get exposure to AI and automation use cases built on top of clean data.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Currently completing a degree in Data, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• SQL knowledge: you know what a JOIN is, you’re keen to get much better.
• Some familiarity with Python, even if it’s mostly from academic projects or personal experiments.
• Genuinely curious about data and how it drives real decisions.
• Proactive and detail-oriented: you notice when something doesn’t add up and you ask.
• Comfortable in English and conversational Spanish.
• Available for 6 months.
• Any previous internship or work experience in a data related role is a big plus.
