Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript to join a
collaborative international team. The successful candidate will work closely with a French team and provide guidance
and support to junior developers based in Barcelona.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are key, along with a solid foundation in backend development and
cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the French client team and support junior developers in Barcelona.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Ensure clean, well-documented, and scalable code.
• Occasionally contribute to frontend development using Angular (a plus).
• Work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite in the Barcelona office.
Technical Skills
• Mandatory:
o Node.js
o TypeScript / JavaScript
o AWS (general knowledge)
• Desirable:
o DynamoDB
o Angular
o CI/CD experience
Candidate Profile
• Experience: 3 to 5 years as a backend developer.
• Education: Technical Engineering or related field.
• Languages:
o English: B2+ (required – primary language of communication)
o French: a plus
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, mentoring abilities, organized and self-motivated.
