The Mission

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager for commercial development of the Spanish market, focusing on both food and non‑food industrial categories (dairy, ice cream, detergents, and others).

This role will be responsible for expanding the customer portfolio, developing growth strategies, and providing the Group with structured market insights and trends.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities, defining successful strategies together with management.
  • Build and strengthen a network of clients, partners, and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Prepare commercial proposals focused on New Business and new client acquisition.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and oversee all stages of the commercial cycle.
  • Prepare forecasts and reports, and support in resolving critical issues.
  • Coordinate activities with internal and external teams, both nationally and internationally.
  • Ensure achievement of commercial targets.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process and manage client accounts, ensuring proper cost and margin control.
  • Analyze customers’ financial data (e.g., sales reports) and develop strategies to open, recover, and retain clients.

 

 

Requirements & Competencies

  • University degree in Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields.
  • Solid experience in commercial roles (+5 years) with strong B2B background.
  • Proven experience in the packaging industry (folding carton, rigid containers, or flexible packaging).
  • Strong hunter profile, highly oriented toward new business development and acquisition of new clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, priority setting, and time management.
  • Strong communication skills, active listening, and ability to share information effectively.
  • Analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills with assertiveness and diplomacy.
  • Autonomy, empathy, creativity, accuracy, critical thinking, and dynamism.
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Languages fluency in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.

Location: Spain. This position requires mobility across the country, therefore candidates living close to an airport with good flight connections are preferred.
