Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant, based in Madrid, with flexibility for some remote work. The Accountant will manage daily financial tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, and assisting with audits. Responsibilities also include reconciling accounts, managing tax filings, and contributing to budget planning and forecasting to support clients in achieving growth across international markets.

Qualifications

🇨🇳 Chinese-Speaking Accountant – Madrid (Spain)

• Strong skills in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Experience with VAT and tax compliance, especially in cross-border transactions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients
• Proficiency in Spanish and Chinese; additional language skills, particularly in English, are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Prior experience working with eCommerce businesses or familiarity with platforms like Shopify and Amazon is advantageous
