Position Overview
As the Regional Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence within Spain. You will lead a talented sales team, develop strategic sales plans, and collaborate across departments to ensure business targets are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership
- Strategy Development: Create and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals and optimize market penetration.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed sales quotas.
- Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and professional development for your sales team to ensure peak performance.
2. Market Expansion
- Opportunity Identification: Seek out new business opportunities to expand HCL Software’s market footprint in Spain.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and customer needs to create a competitive edge.
3. Strategic Planning
- Collaborative Planning: Work with senior leadership to create annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with the company’s overall business goals.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use sales data, market analysis, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions and allocate resources efficiently.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Customer Engagement
- Customer-Centric Approach: Build strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and challenges.
- Trusted Advisor: Provide tailored solutions and strategic advice to customers to help them achieve their business objectives.
- Customer Retention: Implement initiatives that foster customer loyalty and advocacy, ensuring long-term partnerships.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Team Synergy: Partner closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align sales strategies with product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and customer expectations.

Qualifications
- Proven Sales Leader: A strong track record of success in sales leadership within the software industry, with the ability to drive revenue growth and surpass targets. We are looking for someone who has at least 20 years of experience with the last 10 years managing senior sales teams who target the large Enterprise market with a portfolio of solutions.
- Business Acumen: Strategic thinking and sharp analytical skills, with the ability to transform market insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Regions business landscape, market trends, and cultural nuances.
- Tech Enthusiast: Passionate about technology, with a strong interest in software products and solutions.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel as required within the Region.
