Nebrija Business & Technology School, part of Nebrija University, is looking for a Director of Applied Research to lead the development of a distinctive research agenda focused on business transformation.

We are seeking a hybrid profile with strong practitioner orientation and solid academic credibility: someone close to companies, capable of understanding real organisational challenges, and able to translate them into relevant applied research, thought leadership and strategic collaboration.

This role is designed for a candidate who can build bridges between academia and business, develop partnerships with companies and institutions, and position the School as a relevant voice in areas such as digital transformation, AI adoption, leadership, strategy, innovation, talent and organisational change.

We are looking for someone with:

• A PhD is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency bilingual in English.
• Strong academic and professional background in business transformation or related fields.
• Significant experience working with companies, executives, consulting firms or institutional partners.
• A strong international outlook.
• The ability to develop applied research with external relevance and strategic impact.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to grow with an expanding school.
