We are seeking a commercially driven and technically proficient Commercial and Marketing Director for our Iberian region with proven experience in the lighting industry. The ideal candidate will lead the commercial team, manage key accounts, oversee project-based sales, and conduct detailed profitability analysis. A strong background in lighting solutions and project-based business development is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and support the commercial team to achieve sales and project delivery targets: Trade commercial team - Prescription & projects team - Marketing team - Customer Service
• Lead the management of strategic and high-value accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
• Identify, develop, and execute project-based opportunities in the lighting sector (architectural, industrial, commercial, etc.).
• Act as a project liaison between clients, technical teams, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct detailed analysis of sales data, margins, and project profitability, delivering reports to support decision-making.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to tailor proposals to client specifications and budgets.
• Lead or support complex negotiations and ensure successful project closures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting technologies, trends, and standards (e.g., LED solutions, control systems, sustainability).
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and technical presentations.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Technical understanding of lighting products, systems, and applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client stakeholders simultaneously.
