Temporary work experience at Cartier Iberia subsidiary, based in Madrid offices (6 months) for applicants to gain practical skills and knowledge in the field of luxury and/or of hard luxury, by working with one of the market leaders in the segment of Jewelry and Watchmaking.
The internship is within the Marketing & Communication department, assisting the Managers of both areas in a series of transversal projects and daily tasks that will enable the candidate to acquire the first notions of how to manage both the Brand Image in a market as well as the Sales impact & performance of the different product categories: Jewelry, Watches, Leather goods & Accs.
Potential starting dates: October. To be discussed with the school/ university.
Job Description
- Support Marketing & Communication areas in the regular monitoring of KPIs and results to measure the performance of the Brand and of the main product collections, by the weekly and monthly preparation of reports and analysis that are to be shared with all stakeholders at the company in a systematic and regular way, including:
- Regular update and preparation of key materials required for Internal communication sharing and Training purposes.
- Focus on Merchandising: reporting to the Watchmaking Product Manager, contributes to the performance of this category as he/she will be part of the operational functioning of the stock and the product assortment of the category, ensuring the right level of stock in our network. The intern will actively participate in meetings and discussions and will support the product manager in preparing visual presentations (PowerPoint) and analysis (SAP/ Excel).
- Specific support to the Media Manager, Events Manager and Press Relations Managers in a variety of tasks.
- Attention to detail, Sensitivity towards the luxury industry and Brand aesthetics.
- Passion and willingness to learn.
- Proactivity and sense of drive.
- Team player and collaborative.
- Good skills in organization, planning and anticipation.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Written and verbal communications are a top plus for this department.
- High level of English is mandatory.
- French notions/ language not mandatory, but welcomed
- The position may involve travelling and working late hours in Brand events or social gatherings.
