PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To conduct consultancy assignments throughout the Iberian Peninsula and internationally, to develop client relations and to promote Christie & Co’s brokerage and other services.
In addition to conducting projects, the role requires an element of active collaboration and support to junior members of the team, support to other functions in the region including brokerage and valuation, as well as active contribution to developing Christie & Co’s brokerage activities further.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The candidate will be part of a local consultancy team of Consultants and Interns, itself part of the overall Christie & Co team for the Iberian Peninsula under the leadership of the regional Managing director.
Functionally the role will involve close collaboration with the European consultancy team under the leadership of the Head of Hotels Consultancy.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- To organise, plan, execute and take ownership of the key consultancy assignment components, including pre-fieldwork and planning, desk and field research, financial analysis, report writing & assignment completion.
- Work efficiently and manage a multiple range of projects to a high standard, with direction from senior colleagues (subject to the complexity of the project), coordinating the support of junior team members and juggling timescales, priorities and project lifecycles
- Plan, request and manage the input of senior management and other functional & cross-functional colleagues and resources to ensure the quality and timely delivery of each assignment
- To work together with the valuation, investment and agency teams during the pitch and information memorandum stage or when analytical or consulting input is required;
- To actively involve the agency team in any consulting assignment where a brokerage angle is required;
- To develop both an internal and external network, with a view to enhance collaboration and upselling across the organisation and develop the business in Spain, Portugal and Europe. Business development activities will also include the participation to hotel related conferences and events, business networking activities, cold calling, industry publications and other such duties as may be required;
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Christie & Co’s Consultancy at both local and international level, including participating or leading initiatives across European offices (ex: team development, tools, operating procedures and best practices)
- Assist or lead the management of client relations and client contact during the lifetime of an assignment;
- Represent Christie & Co as a professional organisation with the highest standards of excellence and client care;
- Monitor relevant industry trends and their potential impact and contribute to the maintenance of Christie & Co research, data collection, resources and database.
- Participate and support the onboarding, training and development of the consultancy team, including peer-reviews and delivery of project feedback (where appropriate)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
In this role you will need:
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written
- Strong experience in Hotel Real Estate with previous exposure to hotel from an operational, consulting, investments or asset management.
- They will ideally combine some experience in hotel operations and/or above property analytical functions (ex: revenue management, asset management, finance).
- Commercial acumen and understanding of the parties involved in hotel development/ investment/ hotel contracts (HMA, FA & Leases)
- Ideally a strong knowledge of the Spanish/European market
- A high level of numeracy, data and analytical skills, combined with a robust understanding of hotel operating statements
- Advanced Excel modelling and analysis skills
- Financial modelling skills and understanding of investment principles and analysis methods
- Confident use of other Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint
- Strong planning, multi-tasking, time management and organisational skills along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, adaptable to change

THE POSITION We are now moving into our long-term plan's next exciting phase, with a focus on consolidating growth achievements, introducing new revenue streams, and establishing a business framework that supports a medium-sized enterprise.
To this end, we are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to lead the accounts department and take full responsibility for the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, adherence to business and taxation laws and regulations, preparation and submission of accounts to auditors, financial risk identification, implementation of financial controls, and financial reporting to the board.
This proactive Financial Controller will have a keen interest in streamlining financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate and insightful financial analysis.

YOU WILL...
Manage the finance for The Stoke Brands Co and its subsidiaries: Stoke Travel Co, Yes-Trip and other affiliated brands.
Oversee all accounting aspects, including: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and Liaising with customers and agents to resolve issues Maintain continuous communication with our financial adviser and stay updated on new company, tax, and industry laws.
Provide administrative support to management as requested.
Develop and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO.
Support financial planning and analysis efforts.
Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and audits.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions.
Manage relationships with banks and external stakeholders.
Support employment adviser in contracts and visa requirements.
Manage office utilities, including phone, mail, and bills.
YOU ARE...
Skilled in managing a small team.
Known for your "can-do" attitude and flexible approach.
Proficient in advanced spreadsheets for reporting and operational tools.
Analytical, organized, and systematic.
A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and accountability.
Experienced in multi-currency accounting and exchange rate hedging, especially with foreign suppliers (primarily European).
Familiar With Holded Accounting Software (preferred But Not Required).
CPA or MBA qualified (preferred but not required).

本ポジションでは、単なる「チェック機能」としての監査ではなく、経営層や事業部門と連携しながら、

▍ミッション
「グループ全体のガバナンス強化と事業成長への貢献」
当社および国内外の連結子会社約15社を対象とした内部監査、およびJ-SOX(内部統制報告制度)対応を担当します。
監査や評価を通じてリスクや課題を特定するだけでなく、現場と対話しながら「改善の推進」までをサポートすることが最大のミッションです。
▍具体的な業務内容
入社後は、内部監査室の既存メンバー(室長クラス)と共に、以下の業務を遂行していただきます。
形式的な監査にとどまらず、事業の実態に即した改善提案をしていくことを歓迎しています。
- 内部監査業務(業務監査・テーマ監査)
- 年間監査計画の立案および経営陣への提案
- 各部門・子会社への監査実施(インタビュー、書面確認)
- 監査報告書の作成、指摘事項に対する改善提案とフォローアップ
- J-SOX評価業務(財務報告に係る内部統制評価)
- 全社的統制、業務プロセス統制、IT全般統制の評価計画と実施
- 不備事項の改善指導、監査法人対応
- グループガバナンス・PMI支援
- 新規M&A子会社に対するPMI(統制環境構築)コンサルティング
- グループ全体のリスクアセスメント
- 海外子会社のモニタリング(英語力をお持ちの場合)
- オフサイトモニタリング・組織運営
- 各種重要会議体への陪席、資料閲覧によるリスク予兆の把握
- 監査等委員会事務局の運営サポート
従来の「守り」の監査だけでなく、新規事業やM&Aに伴う新しい業務フローの構築支援など、
事業の成長を阻害せずリスクをコントロールする「攻めのガバナンス」を志向しています。

必須スキル
以下、いずれかのご経験・スキルをお持ちの方
- 事業会社での実務経験(2〜3年程度/職種不問)
- 営業、エンジニア、人事、経理など、専門領域に関わらず、「業務の流れを理解し、課題を整理して改善した経験」をお持ちの方を歓迎します。
- 監査未経験でも、論理的思考力とコミュニケーション力があればキャッチアップ可能です。
- 内部監査 または J-SOX評価の実務経験
- 事業会社での監査経験、または監査法人・コンサルティングファームでの経験をお持ちの方。
資格
- 公認会計士、USCPA(米国公認会計士)、日商簿記2級以上
- CIA(公認内部監査人)、CFE(公認不正検査士)などの関連資格
- IT全般統制(ITGC)やITアプリケーション統制(ITAC)の知識・評価経験
- ビジネスレベルの英語力(TOEIC 700点以上目安/海外子会社対応のため)
- SQLなどを用いたデータ抽出・分析の経験(監査の高度化に寄与)
- 変化を楽しめる方:M&Aや新規事業により組織が常に変化する環境において、前例踏襲ではなく柔軟に対応できる方。
- 課題解決志向の方:指摘して終わりではなく、「どうすれば現場が動きやすく、かつ統制が効くか」を一緒に考えられる方。
給与
年俸制:500〜700万円
月収:41.7〜58.4万円(30時間分の固定残業代含む:91,500〜128,2000円)
