About the role
The Junior BI Analyst will work as part of our data team to translate raw information into useful insights. In this position, you will help bridge the gap between complex datasets and the practical needs of our investment professionals. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own environment while remaining closely connected to our distributed team through regular communication and structured workflows. You will focus on maintaining the integrity of our data pipelines and ensuring that all reporting reflects the current state of our investments with precision.

What you will do

• Collect and organize data from various sources to support our Mediterranean client engagement.
• Build and maintain basic dashboards using standard business intelligence tools to track performance metrics.
• Perform regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy of all reporting and identify potential errors.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly summaries for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Identify patterns or anomalies in datasets and flag them for further investigation by the senior team.
• Collaborate with other analysts to refine data collection processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Document data sources and report definitions to maintain clear internal records and knowledge sharing.
• Support the team with ad hoc data requests and basic statistical analysis as they arise.

What we are looking for

• A foundational understanding of data analysis principles and a desire to learn new methodologies.
• Basic proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting information from relational databases.
• Strong skills in spreadsheet software, particularly in using formulas, functions, and pivot tables to organize data.
• Familiarity with business intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• A clear and logical approach to solving problems and organizing complex information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical details to non technical team members.
• The ability to manage individual tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
• An interest in financial markets, capital management, and long term investment strategies.
• A degree or recent coursework in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, or computer science.
