What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As our Graphic Design & Marketing Intern, you’ll jump right into the heart of our Marketing & Communications team, helping shape the look, feel, and storytelling of our brand across digital and print touchpoints.


This internship is all about learning by creating— you’ll work on real design projects, collaborate with marketers and developers, and bring ideas to life through visuals, layouts, and creative assets that connect with our audiences. If you’re passionate about design, detail, and turning concepts into impactful visuals, we want you on board.


What you'll be doing:

  • Design visual assets for campaigns, digital channels, events, and brand communications.

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and benchmarks.

  • Assist in the management of our social media platforms: content planning, publishing, and monitoring engagement.

  • Collaborate on the creation and refinement of marketing materials (newsletters, social media graphics, website elements, case studies, press kits, etc.).

  • Support brand consistency by applying our visual identity guidelines across all creative work.

  • Support photo and video editing for content creation (basic retouching, cropping, resizing, adding branding).

  • Review and assist with translation/localization of marketing materials as needed.

  • Offer general support to the Marketing team on day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects.


Who we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, Communication, Advertising, or a related field.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make sure everyone is aligned.

  • Ability to think creatively and shape campaigns that are fun, clever, and on point with brands and audiences.

  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) and social media management platforms and basic Figma skills.

  • A data-driven mindset focused on optimizing processes and improving efficiency.

  • Availability: Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.

  • Experience in Marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Meta Business, Cutcap, or some photo editor.

  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.

  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.

  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.

  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.

  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.
