Introduction To The Vacant Position

The Integrative Cell and Tissue Dynamics Group is looking for a Laboratory Technician to carry out lab management and assist with projects on cell and tissue mechanobiology.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Training and responsibilities in maintenance and operation of cultivation and tissue systems.

Preparations of samples in molecular, cellular, tissue biology and animal models.

Preparation and visualization of samples for microscopy.

Preparation of microfluidics and nano-fabrication samples.

Management of orders and reagents.

Management of shipments of samples and reagents.

Equipment management.

Administrative management of the laboratory.

Laboratory maintenance.

Requirements For Candidates

Higher Level Training Cycle (CFGS) in Analysis and Quality Control Laboratories.

Life sciences degree or technical engineering will be valuable.

Mid level of English

Experience in managing a mechanobiology laboratory.

Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.

Permanent position (Specific Rate of Replacement for the stabilization of temporary work, requested by the Administration of the Generalitat based on the 4th additional provision of Royal Decree Law *******, of December 28. Additional replacement rate authorized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Function).
