About the role
Companies call us when their growth has outpaced their internal systems. This role focuses on the middle of business processes where things usually break: where a request gets stuck in an email chain or where two databases no longer match. You will not be making high level slide decks or talking about abstract frameworks. Instead, you will be tracking how tasks move from one department to another for our client in Spain. You will help our team bridge the gap between the tools the client already owns and what their operators actually need to get done. This is a practical role that requires you to stay close to the technical reality of how work moves through a system.
What you will be doing
- Updating standard operating procedures as we change how data flows through client systems.
- Monitoring internal logs to identify where approval requests or tickets are getting stuck in the pipeline.
- Organizing the schedule for small technical updates so they do not conflict with daily client operations.
- Checking daily reconciliations between different financial systems to catch data errors before they grow.
- Tracking the progress of specific routing rule changes from the initial request to the final live operation.
- Documenting the source of truth for each process we hand back to the client team.
- Coordinating with our technical team to ensure all project tasks are updated in our internal tracking software.
- A clear and direct writing style for documenting technical steps and business processes.
- Strong attention to detail when looking at spreadsheets, logs, or configuration files.
- The ability to organize information logically without needing a rigid template provided for you.
- A basic understanding of how business software, such as ERPs or databases, generally functions.
- Natural curiosity about why a system is failing rather than just reporting the failure.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setting where most communication happens through written documentation.
- A willingness to learn how to read basic system configurations or routing logic.
- Previous experience in a customer support, data entry, or administrative role where you managed complex tasks.
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheet tools, including the use of common formulas and data sorting.
- Prior exposure to task management tools like Trello, Jira, or Asana through university projects or internships.
- An interest in how technical systems support real world business operations and logistics.
