Estamos buscando un/a Junior Front End Software Engineer con al menos 2 años de experiencia en desarrollo de proyectos tecnológicos para un puesto clave de nuestro ecosistema tecnológico para nuestras oficinas de Madrid (Edificio Luca de Tena).
Nuestro trabajo consiste en diseñar y desarrollar el software que da servicio al Negocio del Banco Santander, entendiendo esas tecnologías y los posibles riesgos que tienen para nuestros clientes, para la sociedad y para nuestros accionistas. Tu misión será la de interpretar los requisitos técnicos y funcionales para su desarrollo, certificación y eventual liberación productiva. Al hacerlo, aplicarás al Grupo Santander estrategias y patrones informáticos para realizar soluciones seguras, fiables, sostenibles y eficaces.
👩🏿💻 Estas serán tus principales tareas:
Analizar si las infraestructuras y sistemas están operando conforme a las políticas del Grupo y los estándares técnicos del sector de IT.
- Referencia técnica experta: Actuar como Experto técnico y funcional en el área, realizando el análisis, diseño e implementación de nuevas funcionalidades e iniciativas, manteniendo una visión actualizada sobre tendencias, regulaciones y mejores prácticas del sector.
- Cumplimiento regulatorio, normativo y mejores prácticas: Garantizar que los desarrollos y soluciones tecnológicas cumplan con los marcos regulatorios y las políticas internas en arquitectura, seguridad, gestión de riesgos, datos y calidad (testing).
- Gestión de sostenibilidad tecnológica: Asegurar el mantenimiento y evolución de las capacidades tecnológicas del área, gestionando activamente la deuda técnica y promoviendo soluciones sostenibles a largo plazo.
- Impulso a la entrega de valor: Fomentar un entorno que favorezca la entrega continua de valor tecnológico, así como su correcta medición, seguimiento y reporte a nivel organizacional.
- Gestión de capacidades técnicas: Coordinar la disponibilidad y asignación de capacidades técnicas de acuerdo con la estrategia de delivery establecida por los diferentes Chapters de tecnología.
- Gestión integral de proyectos: Elaboración de planes de trabajo detallados, controlar la ejecución end-to-end de los proyectos, y asegurar el cumplimiento de hitos y entregables técnicos y funcionales.
- Gestión de riesgos y resolución de conflictos: Identificar, documentar y gestionar riesgos y conflictos que puedan afectar los proyectos, incluyendo su comunicación y escalado cuando sea necesario.
- Gestión de interdependencias y coordinación de partes interesadas: Asegurar que las interdependencias entre equipos y proyectos estén correctamente identificadas y gestionadas, coordinando eficazmente con stakeholders internos y externos (corporativos, factorías, filiales).
- Seguimiento de proyectos: Elaborar y presentar reportes periódicos sobre el estado, riesgos y avance de los proyectos al comité de dirección y a otras instancias clave del área tecnológica.

Experiencia
- 2 años de experiencia ejecutando proyectos de desarrollo de SW, con componentes técnicos, funcionales, regulatorios, legales o financieros, preferentemente dentro del sector bancario o financiero. (Obligatorio).
- Se valorará especialmente experiencia previa en el Grupo Santander, especialmente en iniciativas relacionadas con banca de empresas. (Preferido).
- Tener desde un grado superior (informática y comunicaciones; electricidad y electrónica) hasta grado en ingeniería (informática, telecomunicaciones, industriales, etc.), matemáticas o estudios similares; que te permitan tener una base sobre la que construir tu desarrollo y aportar en tu trabajo. (Obligatorio).
- Cualquier especialización o sólida experiencia en temas relacionados con la ingeniería tecnológica. (Preferido).
- Inglés nivel intermedio (Obligatorio).
- Experiencia consolidada en ejecución de proyectos y mantenimiento de plataformas de software bancario. (Obligatorio).
- Conocimiento y experiencia profesional en bases de datos tales como Oracle, SQL, NoSQL, DB2. (Obligatorio).
- Conocimiento de lenguajes de programación front Angular. (Obligatorio).
- Conocimiento de Frameworks tales como React, Spring, Spring boot. (Obligatorio).

- 5+ years of professional front-end development.

As an Application Responsible Deputy, you will join one of our agile teams. Your primary objective will be to ensure Application Compliance with the IT Governance in your DevOps Team. YOUR CHALLENGE
- You are technologically versatile and familiar with the .NET Core tech stack, T-SQL, GitLab CI/CD plus you understand the concept of containerization & orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes and how services run).
- Knowledge in frontend development (React, Angular) would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Define and execute the front-end technical strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with product and AI goals.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to deliver intelligent, data-driven user experiences.
- Integrate AI-powered components (e.g., chatbots, assistants, content generators, predictive UI) into modern web applications.
- Mentor other engineers, promoting excellence in coding practices, architecture decisions, and technical problem-solving.
- Establish and enforce standards for code quality, accessibility, performance optimization, and testing.
- Partner with backend and DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Continuously identify opportunities to use AI and automation to enhance both development workflows and end-user experiences.
Must-have Skills
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5+ years specializing in React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling enterprise-grade front-end applications.
- Knowledge of AI technologies and hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models or APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Anthropic, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI-enhanced interfaces that improve usability, personalization, or automation.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React Hooks, and state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and performance profiling tools.
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced English level, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
