Are you a strategic and influential procurement professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a leading global business on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong view to becoming permanent. This role is crucial to a significant global procurement transformation project and will focus on key areas of the indirect categories.

The Role

You will be joining a global and multinational procurement team and will play a pivotal role in driving change and delivering tangible savings. The key challenge lies in influencing stakeholders who have a high degree of autonomy in their purchasing decisions. Your ability to communicate a compelling story and demonstrate the value of procurement will be crucial. For example, you will be showcasing how leveraging approved suppliers can generate substantial rebates and cost savings for the business, driving mutual benefit.

This isn't a simple transactional role; it's about strategy, stakeholder management, and change. You will be responsible for measuring and tracking these savings, providing concrete data and numbers to demonstrate the value you are adding to the business. You will also need to navigate difficult and challenging operational environments to achieve your goals.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in indirect procurement, with a background in facilities management (FM) or professional services being highly advantageous. You must be a skilled stakeholder manager with a proven ability to influence without direct authority. We need someone who can work autonomously and thrives on the challenge of transforming existing ways of working.

Due to the remote nature of this position, you can be based in Madrid, with all work-related travel being fully expensed.
